Ehizogie Iyeomoan is a citizen of planet earth with attributes akin to a few stars shot from the galaxies.
Born November, Ehizogie is a lover of nature, arts and aesthetics. His writings are sometimes consise poems, long short stories and or essays, memoirs & plays.
Ehizogie’s poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Provocanyon, Kalahari, Praxis, the New Black Magazine, Boda Boda Anthem & other poems- a Kampala poetry anthology, Expound, Inspired by Gandhi, Korean/Nigeria poetry anthology, EGC, Write Paragraphs, Lyriversity, Words Rhymes & Rhythm, SYNW anthology for late Catherine Acholonu, Speaking pen anthology- we cry for peace and many others unmentioned.
His poems have been translated to French, Italian and Korean languages.
He is an Open Society Fellow as he participated in its first poetry residency at the Goethe Institut, Goree Island, Dakar, Senegal.
Ehizogie’s poems, We are Africans & Fulani boy respectively won silver prize & gold prize in the fourth & fifth Korea/Nigeria poetry festivals.
Fulani boy also received honorary mention at the Castello palace, Italy, were it received targa alut prize.
Ehizogie is currently working on his debut novel & a second poetry collection.
His first collection, flames of the forest is available for purchase on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and eBay.
